In healthcare institutions, multi-professional teams encounter emotionally stressed people. There is a great deal of pressure to take responsibility, and the interaction between nursing and medicine is often difficult. Hierarchical management styles are still common. These and other system-related particularities pose special challenges for mediation in the healthcare sector.
