A handbook, Nomos-Verlag, 656 p., 2014.

„Finally a writing style that is pleasant and easy to understand. The author has a good overview of the subject matter. The topics are wide-ranging, interestingly selected and reveal an intelligent common thread. The fact that someone can present a scientifically sound subject so well shows that someone here knows what they are saying, thinking and ultimately writing. It's just a pity that this paperback is only available at such a high price – although in my opinion it should be made accessible to a much wider readership.
In conclusion, the insights and mechanisms from TA can be used in many areas of „business training“ – one more reason, especially for managers with a need for reflection, to put this book on their top ten wish list &#8220!

...for mediators interested in expanding their conceptual inventory, for counsellors who want to gain a wider perspective on conflict, for transactional analysts who want to add mediation to their profile - and for anyone else who wants to use "cognitive maps" to reduce complexity, it is an (instructive) and valuable handbook!"

Extracts from the Book review by Vice-President of the Regional Court,_B. Mumm, Mediator BAFM

...the work is excellently suited to increase the professionalism in mediation practice...... the manual presented deserves to be taken note of by the mediator working in practice...it is ideally suited to contribute to the sustainable improvement of one's own professionalism ..."

Review by teaching coach and transactional analyst Günther Mohr see www.mohr-coaching.de

...all in all, the anthology provides a nice pool of conceptual ideas for mediation. The individual contributions are not too long, but formulate their statements in a concise manner. The advantage of transactional analysis of creating models with an optimal reduction of complexity - i.e. not too much but not too little either - is a good basis for the implementation and equally for training in mediation.

Prof Dr Barth in Business mediation 1/2015, p. 60 f

...with its many contributions, the handbook shows what transactional analysis can achieve in terms of communication theory in order to lead a mediation process or a conflict management system...anyone who wants to expand their skills in process management as a manager or mediator should take more than one look at the volume and not be put off by its size.

With over 40 articles, the handbook offers a comprehensive insight into the Practical mediation work on the basis of transaction-analytical ideas. The theoretical understanding of modern mediation is deepened.

It will be shown to what extent transactional analysis concepts enrich classical mediation in personal conflicts and offer a Relationship-orientated conflict management enable. In addition Concepts of systemic transactional analysis presented to the organisational conflict management benefit from structural conflicts.
