Conflict management systems

In Germany, conflict management systems are associated with the Viadrina component model or the concept of system design. A characteristic of conflict management systems is that all elements are systematically introduced or brought together and then controlled and coordinated so that the conflict and corporate culture is "developed" according to an organisation-specific regulatory regime. In practice, it is – not enough for the aim of this systematic approach to be „ better “ conflict management. There needs to be a specific organisational goal for such a mammoth project.

Viadrina component model

The Viadrina component model structures existing elements or elements to be created into a conflict management system that must be able to cope with the practical tasks in an organisation. These elements are described as components that together make up a complete conflict management system. If some components are missing or are not yet fully integrated into a system, it is a conflict management programme.
The original Viadrina component model dates back to 2007, but was modified and reissued in 2013.
