This book is more than a legal commentary. It can rather be described as a compendium of consumer dispute resolution, as it not only explains the individual provisions of the VSBG, but also provides a comprehensive overview of this area of law, from the basic principles of European law to the regulations in other countries and the procedural rules of individual arbitration boards to sample forms from the Federal Office of Justice. It also analyses practical experience with the VSBG, which has not yet been able to achieve the significance it was intended to have due to the pronounced refusal of the entrepreneurial side.
