Justus Duhnkrack, lawyer and certified mediator, legal advisor to the German Federal Cultural Foundation, studied law, mediation and conflict management in Hamburg, South Africa and Frankfurt (Oder).
As an author, he comments and writes on artistic, legal and cultural policy issues. He has his own artistic and curatorial experience in the visual and performing arts and is an expert, juror and speaker for various associations, foundations, galleries and public funding organisations.
His doctoral project is dedicated to the public promotion of the independent art scene.
