INKOVEMA Podcast „Well through time“

#15 – Resource-orientated transactional analysis.

Impulses for an inspired coaching and counselling practice.

In conversation with Bertine Kessel, Hanne Raeck and Dörthe Verres

Well through time. The podcast about mediation, conflict coaching and organisational consulting.

Bertine Kessel, Hanne Raeck and Dörthe Verres talk about their new book. Recently published, they bring together the new, resource-oriented concepts in (international) transactional analysis, pour them into an overall concept – and present a German-language compendium intended for practitioners in coaching and counselling. The fact that they exchange the round with the square no longer seems revolutionary, but consistent and overdue. Nevertheless, it will provoke discussion among TA experts.

About the book: „Resource-oriented transactional analysis“ (2020)

Publisher's description: The focussed view of concise details of communication and personal development from close up is the hallmark of transactional analysis. In the coaching and counselling context, it helps to give meaning to experiences of all kinds and to make new decisions.

This book supplements transactional analysis with systemic approaches that enable a comprehensive understanding of context, roles and reality construction as well as approaches from analytical psychology, which expand the understanding of people's individual potential with their in-depth perspective. The neurobiologically based concept of the Zurich Resource Model (ZRM®) also provides lasting support for change competence by utilising the resources of the unconscious using images and embodiment methods.

It was logical to replace the round with the square. Otherwise it wouldn't fit.
